Located in Bolton, England, the University of Bolton is a public university that dates back to 1825 when Bolton Mechanics’ Institute was established. It was granted powers to offer degrees in 1992 and research degrees in 1995. Finally, the Institute was awarded university title in 2004 by Privy Council consent.
The university maintains an urban campus loaded with modern facilities. Set between Derby Street and Deane Road in Bolton. It also houses more than 11,000 students. It has about 25% of the student population from ethnic minority communities. The university welcomes students from 60 foreign countries outside the UK. Bolton also maintains Chaplaincy that contains numerous diverse faiths. Apart from having links with foreign academic institutions in Singapore, Germany, Greece, China, Malawi, and Malaysia, Bolton has an academic centre in Ras al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.
Not just this, the university also offers research opportunities. Students can enroll for Masters and Ph.D. degrees. Bolton is known for its industry-relevant teachings and vocationally focused degree programs. It offers known courses like Business and Media programs.
